History of Bolivia Flag

The current flag of Bolivia was adopted in 1851. In 2009, Bolivian constitution established the Wiphala as the dual flag of Bolivia. Red represents blood lost during the battles for independence, yellow represents the country’s great mineral richness, and green represents its territory and lush vegetation.
